Global Vibe: QUESTION TIME
Upper Primary
This activity will engage students in a 'studio situation' and enable them to experience the anxieties and pressures in producing an effective interview. Role playing and group work provides students with opportunity to co-operate as a team and communicate effectively.
Junior Secondary
This project actively engages students in interview preparation, procedure and outcomes. Through participation students develop an understanding of how language manipulation can elicit the desired interview response.
Senior Secondary
This assignment provides an opportunity for students to consider, reflect upon and review questioning techniques. By undertaking this exercise students will develop their understanding and interpretation of manipulation and control within interview methods.
Upper Primary
This exercise develops students' ability to write questions and to be discerning about interview techniques. By actively engaging in an interview situation students will learn that question wording is integral to elicit desired responses.
Junior Secondary
This assignment provides students of English and Media Studies an opportunity to write a brief typically used in the media. Students will develop skills in writing questions, doing research and writing informatively.
Senior Secondary
This assignment enables senior students of English and Media Studies to improve on their analytical skills in interview technique and question writing. Students willlearn to discern between types of questions and the responses they encourage.
